Hello, and welcome! I’m Pastor Ken Gorman Jr., an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church. Thank you for taking the time to visit Pastor’s Korner. However you found your way here, I’m truly grateful that you did.
The mission of Pastor’s Korner is simple: to help people know Jesus Christ more deeply through the faithful teaching of God’s Word. My desire is to equip believers to live out their faith, encourage those who may be struggling, and point people toward the life-changing grace found in Jesus Christ.
As a Wesleyan minister, I believe that God’s grace is available to all, that Christ calls every believer to a life of holiness, and that the Holy Spirit continues to work within us, transforming our hearts and shaping us into the likeness of Jesus. The Christian life is about more than simply knowing more about God. It is about knowing Him personally, growing in our relationship with Him, and allowing His grace to transform every area of our lives.
Through these almost-weekly devotionals, my prayer is that you will be encouraged when you are weary, challenged when you need to grow, and equipped to stand firm in your faith. My hope is that each devotional will help you take the truth of Scripture beyond the page and live it out in your everyday walk with Christ.
Prayer is also at the heart of this ministry. Whatever season of life you may be walking through, you do not have to walk through it alone. If you are carrying a burden, facing a difficult decision, celebrating God’s blessings, or simply need someone to stand with you in prayer, I would be honored to pray for you. I believe God hears the prayers of His people and faithfully provides the wisdom, strength, comfort, grace, and peace we need.
